This event is an annual collaborative project of the FAMU south FL Alumni Chapters, MBA Cares, Inc. and THE HBCU SHUTTLE, Inc. We look forward to having our high school and Jr. college students, take part in the FAMU preview and informational event.. There will be workshops, a full campus tour, a meeting with department Deans, members of The FAMU Student Government Association and so much more. Students will also have lunch in the Cafe with current FAMU students. Parents are encouraged to attend and receive valuable first-hand information. This event will enable students that have FAMU on their radar, to get a first hand look at the # 1 public HBCU!!
This is an awesome opportunity to get a clear vision of YOU on "the hill". In addition, you will receive first hand info on FAMU admission requirements and how to academically AND financially prepare for FAMU. The Spring 2026 FAMU preview will enable each student (and parent) to see all that FAMU has to offer. Members of the South FL FAMU Alumni Chapters will serve as chaperones for this event.
Cost: $150.00 per student and $125.00 per adult. An initial deposit of $75.00 is due on or before February 9, 2026. The balance of $75.00 is due on or before March 9, 2026. Full payment can be made at any time. The group will depart Tallahassee (FAMU) at 4:00 p.m. on 03/28/2026.
FAMU alumni will travel with students and assist them in completing the enrollment and/transfer process as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic journey.

Upon arriving at FAMU, students, parents a chaperones will be intensely involved in various workshops (admissions, financial aid & scholarships, overview of all academic majors offered at FAMU etc) a complete walking tour of the campus including dorms, and one on one meetings with the college Deans. Further, students will enjoy lunch on campus, with the current student body. After lunch on campus, the group will have an opportunity to explore the campus.
There will be a ZOOM meeting with all students, parents and FAMU alum on March 24, 2026, @ 7:30 p.m. Travel schedule and other pertinent information regarding the 2026 FAMU Spring preview tour will be discussed. The meeting ZOOM link will be sent to each student and parent that has registered and paid the required fee. Thank you..
